Cliche...
So...
I was feeling tremendously fragile, close to the edge.
Sat down to watch Monk with the family.
Had myself some cookies and a beverage.
Spilled the full cup all over the computer, almost.
Burst into tears and spazzed out..."HELP ME!"
Joanie says "It's okay, it's only..." She couldn't finish for laughing.
Yep, I was crying over spilt milk.

Monday downtown...
The singing bridge didn't sing...that makes me sad...yet, in a way, thankful for sweet memories.
Edited to add: In February 2012 we went downtown again. My sweet girl said we could do the singing over the bridge...so we did...new, sweet memories for the future.

The dish that saved Thanksgiving...
However, Thanksgiving DOES mean homemade cranberry sauce. It isn't Thanksgiving unless there's plenty. Well, we have the ingredients ready to go and will be whipping up a big ol' batch on
Zesty Cranberry Sauce
2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 cup undiluted orange juice concentrate
2 ripe pears, finely chopped
1 medium apple, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Put everything in a saucepan and simmer, uncovered until the cranberry skins pop and the mixture is slightly thickened. If you don't like it tart you can add sugar at the end (we like it without). This is great hot, cold or room temp. We would eat this in a box or with a fox.
